EMERGENCY USA provides support to projects that offer free, high quality medical and surgical treatment for the victims of war and poverty.
Other Projects
Coming into contact with the various dire needs of the local populations have often led EMERGENCY to assess and comply with specific requests by local authorities, As a result, the range of EMERGENCY’s humanitarian activities in Afghanistan sometimes widens to include programs that are not strictly connected to war surgery.
Some of the diverse programs EMERGENCY has undertaken include a project for the prevention of leishmaniasis, the renovation of the Anabah school, and the renovation of the Mirbachakot Public Gardens.
EMERGENCY’s prison healthcare programs, and an employment cooperative for widows in the Panjshir Valley are still ongoing.
