About the Film:

Two boys, one injured by a land mine in Kabul and the other suffering from a congenital heart condition in a refugee camp near Khartoum. The two young lives are linked by the NGO Emergency whose facilities provide free medical care to civilian victims of war around the world. An artfully lensed and edited film, a cinematically stunning examination of two lives affected by conflict that illustrates how hope prevails in even the most desperate of settings.
