In an expression of peace and respect toward the families, especially the children in Afghanistan, Volunteer Groups and Supporters of EMERGENCY USA will host events across the country with the theme of kites flying high, an activity that children (and adults) around the world - especially those in Afghanistan - celebrate and enjoy.

This event will also translate into lifesaving impact as participants set up a team page on Firstgiving to raise funds in support of the 3 EMERGENCY hospitals/surgical centers, maternity center, and 29 first aid posts where patients are treated free-of-charge, with high-standard, specialized and much-needed medical care.
