Afghanistan: Difficult Days, Like Yesterday

There are really difficult days, like yesterday.

An attack during a religious ceremony in Kabul killed 43 people and injured 85.

40 wounded patients were taken to our hospital, with 7 dead on arrival.

“Yet another mass casualty in Kabul, we’ve had 27 in 11 months”.

Those people who were killed and injured were not on a battlefield. They were not fighting. They were just getting on with their daily lives.
