We reiterate the importance of collectively rejecting and denouncing violence against women.

At EMERGENCY, we believe in a culture of peace that condemns all kinds of violence. This is something that we put into practice every day at our Maternity Centre in Anabah, Afghanistan – a flashback here to the joyous day that we opened the new facility. By providing women with maternal healthcare, shelter, professional training and psychological support, we foster equality as an act of peace.
