100 Seconds Remain Until Midnight.

The hands of the Doomsday Clock occupy exactly the same position as they did a year ago, but it is not good news: “it reflects the judgment of the board that we are stuck in a perilous moment, one that brings neither stability nor security”, explained the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists.

Pandemics, climate change, unequal access to healthcare, the development of nuclear and biological weapons, and online misinformation continue to make our planet vulnerable and divided.

The unequal global distribution of vaccines and the gap in access to healthcare are also a widespread threat to the fate of humanity. Unless the leaders of rich countries commit to cooperation and support for developing countries, communities will face new challenges that are impossible to manage.

Let’s start acting now, all of us: let’s turn words into concrete everyday actions. The time to act is now, we cannot wait any longer.

The fate of humanity continues to depend on the will and commitment of each and every one of us.
