On November 17th, nearly 100 supporters gathered in Los Angeles to celebrate EMERGENCY USA at…

Together we raised over $180,000 for people affected by war and poverty.
On November 16th, an incredible group of supporters gathered at the Battery Club in San Francisco.
The highlight of the night was a fireside chat between a group of outstanding humanitarians who have spent time working at EMERGENCY’s hospitals – Dr Emily Farkas, Dr Ranjiv Mathews, and emergency nurse Eunice Allen – moderated by EMERGENCY USA Board Member Mary Ray.
As they shared insights and emotions from life on the frontline, from open heart surgery in Sudan to mass casualty response in Afghanistan to complex paediatric operations in Uganda, our EMERGENCY USA family responded in kind.
Thanks to a generous contribution by members of the EMERGENCY USA Board, we were able to match 100% of donations on the night. Together, we raised more than $180,000 for EMERGENCY’s work around the world.
That’s enough to pay for the running of a First Aid Post and ambulance in rural Afghanistan for more than 3 years.
Thank you to the staff at the Battery, to all of our attendees, to our dedicated Board Members, and especially to our incredible humanitarians, whose work makes this all possible.
With so many generous donations made throughout the night, we can continue to support EMERGENCY and help provide free healthcare to people in need, every day.
Thank you so much!
