On the #InternationalDayoftheGirlChild, we recognise the urgent need to eliminate discrimination that limits girls’ access to medical treatment.

The patient pictured here, at our hospital in Anabah, Afghanistan, has the right to receive whatever care she may need. We’ll spend today like we do every day: delivering projects that consider gender equality as an integral part of the provision of healthcare. By doing so, we can positively change girls’ lives.
