EMERGENCY USA Board Member Awarded for Achievements in Cardiac Surgery

We are thrilled to share that at last week’s Society of Thoracic Surgeons Annual Meeting, Dr. Emily Farkas was recognized with the 2026 Nina Starr Braunwald Extraordinary Women in Cardiothoracic Surgery Award. During the meeting, attendees also had the opportunity to connect with the Thoracic Surgery Foundation EHM award recipients and celebrate leaders advancing the field.
